About Chuck Morford
I was the kid who was always doodling.
Filling my notebooks with scribblings.
My formal art training focused on technical drawing, with pen and ink on Vellum and Mylar, before Computer Aided Design was a thing.
While I was still in school, I won awards from the American Institute of Architects for my drawings .
My first real job was in the engineering department of a local power utility, drawing street maps and circuit diagrams, along with designing a face plate for an electric meter. Exciting stuff! 🙂
I eventually moved on to a career in Information Technology, but never lost the desire or ability to create.
Several of the works I have displayed here are nearly thirty years old, and some were painted just last week!
